Camera calibration includes tools that track your surroundings as you go through traffic, reverse, switch lanes, park, and even brake. Typical causes for your camera calibration and radar not functioning properly include: 

• Faulty camera: Since this is a fairly common problem, it’s possible that your car’s camera unit is malfunctioning.
• Faulty or sloppy electrical connection—the camera device receives power from the radio head unit. If the wires are slack, the camera won’t receive power and the radio head unit won’t receive a video signal from the camera.
• Media head unit malfunction: If the media head unit malfunctions, your car’s camera won’t work at all.
• If any mischief is committed, make sure the camera lens hasn’t been covered with black tape. Although it’s a rare occurrence, you never know.
• Your camera calibration and radar may not be functioning as it should be because of improperly mounted calibrations and radar, which is another possible cause.
